The condensation reaction of Et glycinate with RR1CO (R = H, Me, R1 = H, Me, Et, Ph, p-HOC6H4, PhCH:CH, p-MeOC6H4, RR1 = cyclopentylidene, cyclohexylidene) gave RR1C:NCH2CO2Et in 88-93% yield.
